ING: Russian cbank may cut key rate to 9% in 2016
BRUSSELS, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank may cut its key rate to 9% from 11% already this year and further lower it to 7.5% in 2017, financial group ING said in a report Thursday.
The regulator is to discuss the key rate at a meeting on Friday, but it is unlikely to change the rate. The central bank may start to gradually cut the key rate in June with a 50 basis point decrease, and later in July–December cut it even further by 150 basis points, ING said.
